No campsites available. Six cabins available all winter. Two are 3 bedrooms and the rest are 2 bedrooms with futons available for a extra bed.

Kinney Lake Campground – Marion, WI

We will have primitive sites available until December 1st, bar and grill will be open on the weekends as will the bathhouse on the building.

Sky High Camping Resort – Portage, WI

Type of Camping Available:
We have 13 cabins, 19 winter water campsites, and over 50 sites without water available in the winter. All of the cabins have a small kitchen and bathroom.
Winter On-Site Open Amenities:
In the winter months, there is access to a bathhouse with showers and laundry. These are open 24/7 year round. We have Wi-Fi throughout the entire park.
Local Services Available:
There are many restaurants and grocery stores within 20 minutes of the campground. The closest grocery store is about 10 minutes from us.
Local Attractions:
We are right across the road from Cascade Mountain Ski Resort. They offer skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. We are about 25 minutes from Devil’s Lake State Park. We are about 15 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, that has plenty of indoor and outdoor options.
Additional Comments:
We require all long term campers to be 10 years or newer. There is a required $500 long term camping deposit for all long term campers.
Spur of the Moment Ranch – Mountain, WI

Type of Camping Available:
Spur of the Moment Ranch offers both cabins & dry camping sites! Enjoy a full housekeeping, Log Cabin with a fireplace, full kitchen, full bathroom, dish network and outdoor firepit! We also have a Bunkhouse Cabin. It has 6 twin beds, a full kitchen, & dish network. It does share the bathhouse, but it is attached to the Bunkhouse building, not a far walk! We offer dry camping if you choose to bring your camper. We have 30 amp service & the bathhouse is always open!
Winter On-Site Open Amenities:
We have a camp store! Full bathhouse! Direct trail access to the Nicolet State Trail in Mountain, WI for snowmobiling.
Local Services Available:
The Mountain area has a few Supper Clubs (Weatherwood, Boarding House, or Maiden Lake). Bars & grills, and of course the iconic Chute the Breeze, little blue restaurant. SuperValu grocery store is 13 miles north in Lakewood WI and Dollar Store right here in Mountain!
Local Attractions:
Down hill ski at Paul Bunyan Ski Hill in Lakewood (13 miles north). Cross Country Ski at McComb Lake Ski Trails in Mountain or Lakewood Area Ski Trails, in Lakewood. If you need equipment, Lakewood Ski & Sport has got you covered! Rent for the weekend! Rent snowshoes right at the Ranch and adventure out for a hike! Of course, there are always area festivities going on such as Turkey Bowling, Bed Races, & Card Board Box down hill sled races. Of course, don’t forget about the little shops in Mountain. We have a great candy store, Sweet Memories plus an array of fun little shops in Lakewood. Joan White Studios is located in Lakewood as well, she paints natural scenes on log cuts. Many times she can be found working on her latest piece right in the studio.

Heated bath house with free hot water showers. Self serve-Honor box for firewood. Free WIFI. Monthly we have a special event for “Moonlit Trails & Fireside Cocoa” A magical winter hike under the stars. Call for details.

Local community of Sparta and Bangor have several shops, restaurants, and laundry. We are 4 miles from each.
Local Attractions:
Sparta has several winter experiences to enjoy, such as Kriskindlmarkt starting Thanksgiving weekend and following the next three weekends. The Holiday Lights is set up in Bossard Park and is growing each year! Sparta also offers indoor pickle ball 3x a week in the Rec center for $10 annual membership. We are close to the La Crosse area where many events are planned in the winter months as well as skiing at Mt. La Crosse and Whitetail Ridge ski area at Ft. McCoy
