We all have our moments of last minute packing, or the realization that we forgot something important like shampoo, your swimsuit, etc. The worst though is when you are finally at the campground, you are unpacking and settling in when it hits you… You forgot x, y, and z! This list is a breakdown of what many people don’t think to grab before they leave to go camping.
- Wet Wipes: The always handy-dandy wet wipes. While most remember to bring paper towels, wet wipes are a great addition to your campsite. There isn’t a mess that these bad boys can’t handle!
- Batteries: When you least expect it, batteries always seem to die. Especially at the most crucial time!
- Hammer: Just a smart and handy tool to carry with.
- Trash Bags: This item is often overlooked! It is always a good idea to throw in extra trash bags just to be prepared.
- First Aid Kits
- Bug Spray/Sunscreen
- Power Strip: You can never fully get away from technology and electronics these days can you?
- Travel Mug: This can be handy for coffee of course, but also used for other drinks, or taking your drink to go from the campground bar & grill.
- Duct Tape
- Pack of Matches/Lighter: This is the #1 forgotten item when going camping! Make sure you don’t leave home without it..unless you want a cold and dark campsite at night.
